Luke's play ("Where's Uncle Willy?") was very cute. They worked so hard, they should be proud of themselves. Luke was Kentucky and Montana and he remembered all his lines. Said them loud and clear and was very serious about it. More pictures to come. Maybe even some video.

Talent show went very well. Luke did yo-yo tricks: walk the dog, boomarang, putting the yo-yo to sleep. He was great, of course, after all, as he explained to the audience, he's been practicing for 2 years. How can that be? But it's true. Time flies, I remember him crying his eyes out for a real yo-yo 2 years ago.

Portfolio Night was an open house where Luke got to show us all the work he did all year - all the work that never came home with him, that made us wonder what the heck was he doing at school all year. There it was, in a folder, organized from start to finish. Along with all the poems and songs he'd memorized all year. And book reports, stories, math pages. Art projects. The works. Even photos throughout the year. Pretty impressive, though it would have been nice to see some of it before now...
What's left? Just a class party and ice cream social, I think. Last day is June 11th.
